Pure New York Maple Syrup
Tapped from native maples on the hill. Boiled in a wood-fired evaporator. Bottled by hand. No additives. No shortcuts.
Every drop of Snake Hill maple syrup starts in the same place — the woods behind our house in Averill Park, New York. In late winter, when the nights are still cold and the days inch above freezing, we tap the native maple trees that have grown here long before us.
We haul the sap, feed the fire, and watch the evaporator do its slow, honest work. Wood-fired from start to finish. No additives. No shortcuts. What you get is exactly what the tree gave.
Snake Hill Sugar Shack is a small family operation. We started in 2022 with a few taps and a barrel stove. We've grown since then, but the method hasn't changed — because it doesn't need to.
All syrup is Grade A, pure New York maple. Amber has a lighter, more delicate flavor — excellent on pancakes. Dark carries a bolder, more robust taste — richer and more complex.
